Climate Change Action Plans Engagement and Consultations

Overview

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is developing a new Climate Change Mitigation Action Plan (2025-2030) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and a new Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan (2025-2030) to help prepare for and reduce the impacts of climate change. The Department of Environment and Climate Change (ECC) is seeking input from partners, stakeholders, Indigenous governments and organizations, and the public on the development of these new Plans over the coming months. Your input will help define our priorities, steer a course of action to combat climate change and support healthy, prosperous and more resilient communities across the province.
